Your Art Has More to Say.
You created the work. Now let's explore what else it can do.
Whether you're a painter, mixed-media artist, photographer, fiber artist, illustrator, or maker, Beyond The Canvas™ helps you discover new ways your work can support your creative goals.
Beyond The Canvas™ is an artist development program designed to help artists look beyond the finished piece, recognize the opportunities within and around their creative work, and determine which possibilities are worth exploring. Through a practical and approachable framework, you'll learn how to identify pathways for greater visibility, meaningful connections, expanded impact, and sustainable sources of creative income.
Sometimes the next step isn't creating more art.
Sometimes it's recognizing the opportunities already waiting within the art you've created.
Rather than asking, "How do I sell this piece?"
You'll begin asking, "What opportunities exist because this piece exists?"
Through the Beyond The Canvas™ framework, you'll identify and uncover opportunities that align with your artwork, your audience, and the creative life you want to build.
See beyond the original. Discover what's possible.
I once believed the finished artwork was the destination. Over time, I discovered it was often just the beginning. What starts as a single piece can become a card, an art print, a workshop, a collection, a partnership, or an opportunity you never imagined when you first created it.
Through my own creative journey, I've learned that some of the greatest possibilities aren't found in creating more art, but in recognizing the potential already waiting within the work you've created. Beyond The Canvas™ was created to help artists like you discover those possibilities and explore what else your art can become.
