Meet Patricia Efunsadé (Eh-foon-shah-deh)
Self-Taught Mixed Media Paper Artist + Storyteller
I believe paper can become a sacred place where women remember their voice, honor their story, and reconnect with the beauty still unfolding in their lives.
I am the artist behind SaKredJoi Art, a paper-based studio rooted in storytelling, craftsmanship, and the quiet power of making by hand. Through small-batch handmade greeting cards, journals, mixed media art, prints, and paper goods, I create work for people, boutiques, galleries, and curated retail spaces seeking pieces that feel both elevated and deeply human.
Guided by a lifelong love of paper, inspired in part by one of my father’s sermons, and shaped by seasons of joy, grief, healing, and devotion to slow work, my practice centers on honoring both the ordinary and the sacred. Each piece is cut by hand, layered with color and texture, and created with care, intention, and reverence for the story it holds.
SaKredJoi Art was born from love and remembrance.
What began as a way to honor my oldest sister’s life and legacy has grown into a body of work that holds space for joy, grief, connection, and the quiet moments we often struggle to put into words. Paper became a way for me to remember, to heal, to create beauty from what was tender, and to scatter joy in a world that deeply needs it.
At the heart of SaKredJoi Art is a simple belief: paper can hold memory, emotion, and meaning. Art can be both beautiful and useful. A card can become a keepsake. A journal can become a witness. A layered piece of paper art can carry a story long after the moment has passed. Whether through a handmade card, a journal, an art print, or a creative gathering, the work is made to help people feel seen, remembered, encouraged, and connected.
Whether you are here to find a meaningful card, collect a piece of art, explore handmade journals, bring a workshop to your community, or simply learn more about the story behind the studio, welcome.
SaKredJoi Art is a place where paper holds story, creativity becomes connection, and beauty is created to be held, gifted, and kept.
I’m so glad you’re here.
