The Art Room is a guided creative experience from SaKredJoi Art, led by Patricia Efunsade, a self-taught mixed media paper artist.

Each session blends paper, collage, simple mixed media techniques, and meaningful reflection. Participants are invited to create with everyday materials, explore their own ideas, and leave with something handmade that feels personal, beautiful, and connected to the moment.

These experiences work well for groups that want something more intentional than a traditional craft activity. The focus is on slowing down, gathering around the table, and creating in community.

• Collage + Conversations - A guided creative gathering that uses paper, story, and conversation as a way to slow down and connect.
• Paper Holds Stories - A reflective paper art experience centered on memory, meaning, and the stories we carry.
• Mixed Media Florals - Create layered floral-inspired paper art using hand-cut shapes, collage, color, and texture.
• Creative Journals - Make a simple handmade journal or artful paper piece connected to reflection, creativity, and personal story.
• Custom Workshop Theme - A workshop can also be designed around your retreat, event theme, season, or group intention.

1. Start with an inquiry. Complete the contact form and share a few details about your group, location, preferred date, and the kind of experience you are imagining.
2. We help you shape the experience. Patricia Efunsade will follow up to discuss the best workshop format, timing, materials, group size, and overall flow.
3. Your group gathers at the table. On the day of the event, participants are guided through a creative process that is welcoming, beginner-friendly, and meaningful.

• In-Person Workshops - Available for groups, organizations, retreats, and special gatherings. In-person workshops may be hosted in North Carolina or in other locations when travel can be arranged.
• Virtual Workshops - Virtual creative experiences are available for groups that want to gather online. These work well for organizations, friend groups, and communities in different locations. We like to keep these options to 20 individuals.
• Traveling Workshops - Beginning in 2027, SaKredJoi Art will offer more travel-based creative experiences outside North Carolina. If you are interested in bringing The Art Room to your city, you are welcome to inquire now.

Depending on the workshop format, your experience will include:

The Art Room is designed for small, connected gatherings where participants have space to create, ask questions, and feel supported. Hosted workshops are best suited for intimate groups and are currently offered for up to 20 participants.
